2023 CLASSICAL SUMMER SCHOOL

The next Classical Summer School, taking place June 19–July 21, 2023, is a five-week program that is designed to provide qualified graduate students and middle school, high school, and college/university teachers with a well-founded understanding of the growth and development of the city of Rome through a careful study of material remains and literary sources. Exceptional undergraduate applicants will be considered in rare circumstances.

Sanjaya Thakur, the Judson Bemis Professor in the Humanities and Professor of Classics at Colorado College, is the school director.

The deadline to apply is January 15, 2023; there is no application fee. Numerous scholarships are available.
