Summer School of Greek Language, History & Culture
The Summer School of Greek Language, History and Culture of the Ionian University is aimed at people from the Greek diaspora, as well as to people, who wish to gain an introduction to, or deepen their knowledge of the Greek language, history and culture.
The courses are held at the Ionian University in Corfu, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, and will take place over the two weeks.
There will be 50 teaching hours in total. Teachers will be academics from the Ionian University and special associates coming mainly from the academic field.
The weekly program of the Summer School will include lectures on the Greek language, history and culture, guided tours of the island’s cultural attractions, and excursions.

The Summer School of Greek Language, History and Culture is the result of the collaboration between the Department of History, the Department of Foreign Languages, Translation & Interpreting, and the Department of Music Studies of the Ionian University, and offers lectures on the Greek language, history and culture, guided tours of the island’s cultural attractions, and excursions.
