Photographer and Researcher Richard Ross on GSU campus on Tuesday, March 7.

Richard is nationally recognized for his work, which offers searing insight into our criminal justice system, from juvenile justice to solitary confinement to the death penalty. You can see some of his work at

We would like to extend to you a special invitation to join us for a couple of small events during Richard Ross’ campus visit.

Breakfast invitation for graduate students (Langdale 1081, 8:45-9:45 am)
Please invite any graduate students who might have an interest in Richard’s work to join us for breakfast on that day. We have set aside this time especially for students. Richard’s work combines photography and extended interviews with inmates not only in juvenile facilities and solitary confinement, but also with death row inmates. I hope that you will encourage your students to take advantage of this opportunity. RSVP for breakfast: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/breakfast-for-graduate-student…
Lunch for faculty and friends of your department (Location TBA, 12-2pm)
Please join us for the lunch with Richard on March 7. I invite you to come and bring a guest from among your community partners, advisory board, or friends of the department. RSVP for lunch: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/lunch-with-richard-ross-for-fa…

Richard will give a public keynote presentation on Tuesday at 10 am in Student Center West, Room 468.
